Good Bye America

We are currently at the Tom Brady International Terminal in Los Angeles waiting for our flight to Seoul, Korea and will connect there to Beijing. It still doesn't feel real to any of us. I keep speculating on when its really going to hit me that I will be living in China but it has yet to happen. I asked Wayne when it hit him last time he was there and surprisingly it wasn't until he had been there a couple days and stood on the Great Wall. I can't wait for all those amazing moments. But for now Hannah and I are going on two hours of sleep and can't wait to board so we can get some much needed sleep.

T-Minus 16 hours until the Olsons (and Christensons) are actually in the orient! It's hard to say when we will have internet once arriving. We may have to make a trip to a cafe but I will post as soon as possible.

We will be spending our first week in Beijing with the entire group of 60+ people going over with the China Horizons program before making the trip down to Zhanjiagang. I thought it would be fun for you to have a heads up on some of the things you have to look forward to seeing & hearing about from our Beijing trip. I'm getting really excited to be there but not so excited about the flight over. Tuesday is fast approaching and I'm already having dreams about being there.
